MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, MA. Dip Derm. Jo has been a medico-legal adviser with the MDU since October 2013. Before this she worked as a GP partner, with a special interest in dermatology, in an inner-city London practice for 18 years, and as a clinical complaints and telephone adviser for the MDU. Jo has an MA in Medical Law and Ethics and was involved in setting up a BSc in Clinical Medical Ethics and Law at King's College London, teaching the applied component for many years. Before entering general practice, she was the medical officer at London Lighthouse, providing care for people with HIV/AIDS as well as working at Holloway Prison.
