MBChB BSc MRCS MD LLM PGDip Vas Kavadas joined the MDU in 2008 as a medico-legal adviser from a background in general surgery, having gained an MD in a quality of life field. She has an LLM in Medical Law and a postgraduate diploma in Obesity and Weight Management, and is working towards Lifestyle Medicine Core Accreditation with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. She is currently working as a medical appraiser, as a member of the courts and tribunals judiciary, and as a weight management doctor.
