Leah Brooks

Leah is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Sheffield. Her main interests are in psychiatry, public health, and widening participation in healthcare degrees. Alongside medical school, Leah advocates for widening participation and mental health awareness via her social media (@wellnessmedic) and works collaboratively with various organisations, including speaking at conferences and events. A keen public speaker and writer, Leah enjoys raising awareness of these important areas. In her spare time, you'll find Leah at coffee shops sampling various iced coffees, or (more likely) at home on the sofa cuddling her cat and reading a thriller novel.
