The 6PM Series: remote learning that works

The 6PM Series is a free near-peer teaching series for medical students, born of necessity during the pandemic. It has now expanded into an interactive community for medical students. One of its founders tells us more.

Being able to ask foundation doctors questions, who we will be stepping into the shoes of very soon, is an essential learning experience.

Jemma Buck

Jemma Buck is a final year medical student at King's College London and a co-founder of <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/The6PMSeries/\" target=\"_blank\">The 6PM Series </a>with a group of junior doctors. The 6PM Series is a set of online lectures, aimed at clinical year medical students, led by UK-based junior doctors.</p><p>At University, Jemma has set up a widening participation scheme for prospective medical students in East London and taken an active role as president of the Reproductive &amp; Sexual Health Society. Jemma has also competed nationally for KCL Cheerleading &amp; Gymnastics Society. Jemma has an interest in general practice and aesthetics medicine.
