Why write?

Getting articles published is a useful addition to your e-portfolio and your CV.

It gives you a chance to reflect and expand on topics that are important to you. In our last issue, MDU member and second year student Katie Faulkner weighed up the pros and cons of opt-in organ donation systems.

If you're interested in health education and academia, getting your work published will help you develop your voice and give you excellent experience in writing for different types of publications.

It's also a great way to share your experiences with our student membership of more than 35,000 undergraduates. For example, we've featured elective stories from Saint Lucia, Australia, India and the US – and we're always eager to see more.
