Itisha Adukia

Itisha Adukia is a fourth-year international medical student at Aston University in Birmingham. Her current main interests are paediatric and child health as well as emergency and acute medicine. Not only does she attend placement and medical school, but she also places a great importance on socialising with friends and family to maintain a healthy work-life balance. She is also currently doing a postgraduate certificate in health leadership. As a medical student, she is keen to help out on the wards with various tasks and jobs as well as volunteering with other COVID-19 related jobs such as vaccinating and testing. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, travelling and trying a variety of cuisines.

MB ChB MRCOphth GDL LLM Ellie joined the MDU as a medico-legal adviser in 2013. Prior to this she worked as an ophthalmologist before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law in Birmingham.
